Louise Liu who volunteers at HART (Humane Animal Rescue Team) aked if I would e-mail this to my members.
HART (Humane Animal Rescue Team) is a non-profit organization that rescues stray and abandoned dogs from rural and reserve areas surrounding Edmonton region. As a Shelter-Less organization, we need foster homes to save lives. As winter is fast approaching, we desperately need to recruit more foster homes as we cannot go out to rescue more dogs unless we have more foster homes ready. Winter is coming and many dogs do not survive the winter in Alberta. Therefore we look for individuals who will demonstrate patience and tolerance with their foster dogs. All costs of fostering (food, medical, training and supplies) are all covered by HART. Foster homes only need to provide love, attention and care to their foster dogs. Please see the attached document for outlined primary responsibilities of a HART foster home so that you can get a better idea of what fostering with HART involves. There is also a foster screening questionnaire attached. Please complete the questionnaire and email it back at [address removed] so that HART can get to know you and your home environment a bit better. Once we receive that, we will call you to talk further and arrange a time for one of our foster team -volunteers to come and visit your home and meet you in person. Should you have any additional questions about fostering, please feel free to contact me via email ([address removed]) or call me at[masked]-0580. Thank you again for your interests in fostering!!
