Callingwood Off Leash Park

It was a great walk today at Big Bear park. The frost on the trees was beautiful. (See the pics I posted.) Welcome to all the newcomers with their dogs today. I hope you and your pooches had a good time.

Our next walk will be on Sunday, March 7th @ 2:00 p.m. at Callingwood Off Leash park. This is a great little park with picnic tables and camp stoves. The park is small so if it is a nice day we'll do two loops which will take maybe 45 minutes. Then we'll do our group picture and draw for the prize.

For those who haven't been to Callingwood Off Leash park, take the Whitemud Drive (Freeway) to 170th Street. Go South on 170th Street and turn West (right) on 69th Avenue. At your first set of lights (172nd Street) you turn North (right). Take your first left into the parking lot. It's quite easy to find. Walk down the path to the open area and I will meet you at the picnic table to the right. If you are going to be late or you get lost you can call me on my cell (780) 690-5256. I'll only have it on for our walk. (Don't look at the google map, it's always wrong and I don't know how to change it)

Looking forward to seeing you and your pooch on Sunday, March 7th @ 2:00 p.m.

I was in Callingwood yesterday. If you have a dog that likes water bring towels, as the valley that runs through the middle is ankle high in spots. Other then a that and a few muddy spots it is in good shape. Hope to see you there!
