Hi

My name is Jim Wagner. My wife, Susan and I co-founded Perfect Fit Canines here in Pittsburgh.  We obtain, train and place service dogs with individuals with autism. The demand for autism service dogs is high.  We at Perfect Fir Canines have vowed to help meet that demand.  Today alone I met with two great families today who are seeking autism service dogs. The one was a planned meeting; the other impromptu with a woman who approached me as my first meeting was ending. Last week I met with 2 other families.  To meet the demand we need volunteers who will open their hearts and homes to a young energetic pup for 12-14 months..

Today PFC was offered a great opportunity to obtain 2 lab pups from the breeder from whom we obtained other dogs lab. The pups are 4 months old today. Because of their age, and because the breeder has a liter of new borns, these two guys are being passed over. Everyone wants a puppy. PFC needs to add pups to its program and this is a great opportunity to obtain quality dogs. We are working feverishly to find puppies raisers. If you know anyone who might want to volunteer please message me right away. We would even consider co-raisers; 2 families who share the responsibility.
