Hike: Long Ridge Open Space - Bring Lunch!

Difficulty level: For experienced hikers. 5.5 Miles, 1000 Feet gain.

Let's enjoy the beautiful open spaces and shaded forest trails in Long Ridge Open Space Preserve off Skyline Blvd. There is a great view spot where we will have lunch. We won't stop for lunch until near the end of the hike, so eat a good breakfast!!



70% Exposed to the sun; trails rutted and rocky in some places.
Duration: About 3+ hours from the trailhead, including 1/2 hour for lunch.
Carpool: From Felton Safeway about 45 minutes to the trailhead.

Dogs: not allowed on these trails.

    Trail head is on Skyline, 1.4 miles north of intersection with Hwy 9. The trail head is on the left side of the road. You can park on the wide dirt shoulder on either side of the road.
