Steamboat Springs (Race Trip)

The OKC SKi Club is part of the Flatlands Ski Association...9 clubs in OK, MO, KS and NE. Once a year we get together and have a friendly competition involving downhill races for charity, medals and bragging rights! You don't HAVE to race to go on this trip, but we highly recommend it! This year is the 50th anniversary of FSA so it will be special. Boulevard Brewing Company is a sponsor, so there will be FREE beer at the welcome party and the awards dinner at the top of the gondola on Saturday night. Races include Mens and Womens Challenge, Snowboard Challenge, the Open Challenge for a local charity in Steamboat Springs, the Novice Race and the ever popular Snowshoe Relay team event! This is another trip that WILL sell out and the price is a little higher at $746 (by Dec 16, $771 after), it includes your transportation, condo lodging at the mountain, 3 days lift tickets (4 day lift is available), FSA credentials, race registration fees, welcome party on Thursday night, awards dinner on Saturday night (food & FREE beer at both!), a meal on the return trip and many other planned activities. There's a pub crawl on Friday, Apres Ski EVERY day and much more! Steamboat Springs is a fantastic ski town with some of the friendliest people in Colorado...but then, who wouldn't be happy to live there? Contact Barry Campbell to reserve your spot ASAP at[masked] or [masked]. For more information about how we travel, check out our website at

I forgot to mention that NASTAR age divisions and rules apply for the racing and as of 2014 all downhill racers will be required to wear a helmet. Helmet rule does not apply to snowshoe relay. However, a hot toddy is required for that one...
