Basic Information about The Olympia/Lacey Moms Meetup Group
Who: The Olympia/Lacey Moms Meetup is a group for stay-at-home moms, working moms, and any other moms that would like to find friends and support for themselves as well as their kids!
What: The organizers plan and post meetups on the calendar. Members of the group are encouraged to host meetup events as well.
Where: Meetups can take place almost anywhere. Some of the more popular meetup locations include, capital mall play area, local libraries, parks, Charlie’s Safari, walks and hikes, and sometimes at members homes.
When: Meetup hosts schedule meetups and activities around their families’ schedules.
Why: This group was designed to provide a community service for moms to provide opportunities to make friends for themselves and their children. I have met some of my closest friends in this group and so have my children! It always tickles my heart to hear stories of the wonderful friendships that are such a necessity in these early stages of motherhood.
How: Fill out the member profile (online) and be sure to upload a picture of yourself and your kids (this is mandatory so that moms can identify you at meetups and it helps keep the group safe). Once you are approved by the organizer, check out the calendar and RSVP for the meetups that interest you and your child(ren). Also, check out the message board that contains almost every topic imaginable (recommended local doctors, health care, local babysitters, things to do in the area, and much more). Use the search box to find a topic that interests you. If you find the group meets your needs, please pay the membership fee within 30 days of joining. You can pay online via Paypal or mail the check to the organizer. Otherwise please remove yourself from the group.
Fee: $5.00 per year (fee covers the cost to use the meetup website).
New members must be approved by the Organizer

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
