ART EXHIBITION OPENING of Les Femmes Folles artists at The Caesium Art Gallery!

Les Femmes Folles and Caesium Gallery are proud to present LFF…Ciao! A farewell group exhibition featuring 30 artists to celebrate the last two years of Les Femmes Folles, the phenomenon supporting women in art that all started with a group exhibition two years ago and blossomed into an online journal, two published anthologies, five visual exhibitions and countless talks, panels, performances, readings and other events and collaborations with artists and nonprofit organizations. LFF founder Sally Deskins is off to the eastern edge of the nation June 1 and wanted to say goodbye the same way she said hello.

Artists in the show participated over the years in LFF include: Rachel Mindrup, Sarah Rowe, Heather Peebles, Marvel Maring, Denise Brady, Bridget Eggers, Liz Dittrick, Fran Higgins, Trilety Wade, Ann Myers, Megan Loudon Sanders, Lynn Batten, Evelyn Katz, Lori Wegener, Sara Kovanda, Kristin Pluhacek, Laurie Sewell, Jill Rizzo, Megan Thomas, Kristin Lubbert, Erin Blayney, Molly Kiely, Linda Garcia Perez, Felicia Webster, Maureen Phalen and more; featuring work in collaboration with Bart Vargas, JJ Carroll, Larry Ferguson, Greg Higgins and Mike Scheef.

Exhibit opening will be on Wednesday, May 1, 6-9pm and will also be open Saturday, May 4, noon-4pm with a letterpress poetry reading featuring Susan Aizenberg, Kelsey Reifert and Laura Madeline Wiseman at 3pm.
