Is it possible to have too much Origami? In the world of OMG never!
There has been some interest in another weekly meeting for Tuesday so I thought I'd try it out to see what happens. And so begins our very first WTF! (Weekly Tuesday Folding)
This meeting will be more project oriented. Each meeting will have a specific model or models we will all learn together either through a diagram or book or from a teacher. I would like to gear this meeting to a more advanced folding level. But everyone is still welcome to come and fold and hang out and learn and improve their folding skills.
For the first few meetings, we will meet at the downtown Cosi on 8th st between University and Broadway. it's a great meeting spot and a perfect place to fold, we might change the location in the coming weeks so we can have a variety of meeting spaces.
I set the time at 6pm so early birds can get a head start, I am usually there then to try and reserve seating. If I am not there by then grab a table for us and we will join you shortly after. we will probably start the group folding at 7pm so make sure to make it by then. The Cosi closes at 10pm so we will fold until then and maybe head over to the starbucks in astor place which closes at 1am for the late night folks. Lets see how things go from there.
if you have models you would like to learn or teach, let me know and we will try our best to accommodate.
hope to see you there! happy folding!!

NOTE: reminders emails for WTF will not be sent out after this first notice because it will always be at the same time and same place and same day of the week and I am trying my best not to send out too many mass emails for the group! So check back here on the website for any changes and updates or cancellations ;)
