Seven Growers Dispensary

Seven Growers Dispensary is interviewing growers for participation in the new dispensary concept we are promoting.  Our idea is a “growers, patients and caregivers exchange” under the OMMP guidelines. The era of the “marijuana farmers market” is already under attack by the State.

.

Our dispensary is here for the patients. We are not tax collectors for the State of Oregon like the majority of the dispensaries are. The average dispensary is a money machine to send to college their children on the money of sick marijuana patients; a money machine whose function is to turn over 25% of the patients hard earned money to the government in the form of “taxes”. Some of that money will be spent on the prisons housing other marijuana patients and growers not so lucky as ourselves.

.

So now we find ourselves in a situation where years and years of work to “free the weed” has been co-opted by the government and her cronies. (What is also sad is that it has taken them this long to figure this out!)

.

If you are a grower, and want to get paid for your hard work without becoming simply a profit oriented tax collector of the State then you want to talk to us. We are not saying you shouldn’t earn good money for growing superior medicine, but, we are saying you don’t need to turn over 50% of your earnings to a dispensary owner; which is what they do … they double whatever they give the grower is what they charge the patient - the sick patient who has fought this battle for decades, and now the capitalist dispensary owner sends his kids to collage on the money the patients drag out of their pockets to subdue the pain, to cure the cancer, to heal the infirm.

.

Personally, I’m disgusted by this whole development. The world is dying, and all our politicians can think of is “how can I put more money in my pocket”.

.

But, I never give up. I know there are people out there, growers and caregivers out there, patients out there who understand what I am saying. I hope seven of you step and join me on this. I don’t know any other way to make this appeal. The Medical Marijuana Farmers Market (which we ran for a year before the coward of a landlord made us leave) is the prototype of what I am talking about. Now, we can bring that to the next level! But, I need your help. I can’t do it alone. I’ve survived cancer TWICE! and I’m not going to work myself to death over this . So, if I can get some people to UNDERSTAND this concept it will come to life. If YOU understand this please help me explain this to more growers, patients and caregivers.

.

I am still holding meetups about this every Wednesday and Thursday at the Beaver St House. Come on down if you want to participate or learn more.

.

PS .. our friends in Colorado have agreed to keep us supplied with adequate supplies of Charlottes Web. I will be harvesting Harlequin in six weeks and ac/dc in ten weeks.

.

Peace and never give up.
