What we’re about
The One Circle Community (OCC) is a non-profit organization that aims to help people explore human diversity while feeling the common threads that interconnect us all.
OCC MEDITATION
Starting in October 2011, the OCC has been having open meditation sessions at the Eundeok Cultural Center (next to the Changdeokgung Palace).
Join our sessions to reduce stress, relax the body, and calm unnecessary thoughts that distract us from making wise and compassionate choices in life. Practitioners will also get an opportunity to ask questions about their practice to one of our qualified teachers. Each session will be followed by tea and discussion.
We meet on Saturdays from 10:00am-noon. Your body and mind deserve a break!

토요일 아침 10시, 마음 챙겨서 함께 명상해요.
바쁜 한 주, 열심히 달려온 나에게 휴식을 선물하세요.은덕문화원은 서울미래유산에 선정된 한옥입니다. 창덕궁 서쪽 돌담길을 따라 걷다보면 나오지요.
프로그램은 약 두시간이 걸립니다. 앞에 한시간 정도 몸풀기 요가를 한 뒤, 잠시 쉽니다. 그리고 한 시간동안 명상을 이어갑니다. 명상을 마친 후에 간단히 정리하는 요가를 합니다. 대부분 실내에서 앉아서 진행하겠지만, 가끔 정원에 나가거나 산에 가서 명상을 하기도 합니다. 마친 뒤에는 같이 점심을 먹거나 차를 마시기도 합니다.
프로그램은 명상을 여러 각도에서 연구하고 수련하신 교무님의 지도에 따라 진행됩니다.- 참여비는 5000원입니다. (예약하고 오지 않으시는 분들이 간혹 계시기 때문입니다. 개인컵을 가져오시면 ‘까페 마고’에서 아메리카노로 교환해드립니다.)
- 영어통역이 필요한 경우, 무상통역을 제공합니다.
- 장소가 협소한 관계로 12명까지만 신청 받겠습니다.
- 발열, 기침, 인후통, 근육통 등 의심증상이 있을 경우에는 모두의 안전을 위해 집에서 계시길 바랍니다.
***여름 명상여행 Summer Retreat***
본격적인 더위가 찾아오기 전인 6월 말, 2박3일정도 함께 명상 여행을 떠나려고 합니다.
이번 토요명상부터 10회 이상(3~6월 사이)참여하신 분 선착순 12분께는 참가비 50%를 지원해드리겠습니다.*처음 오시는 분은 서울미래유산 VR 영상을 확인해주세요.

Eundeok Culture Center(은덕문화원) is a Seoul Future Heritage. You may have already walked past it during your visit to Changdeok Palace.
The whole program takes about two hours. Roughly an hour of warming up yoga, a few minutes of rest, and then we meditate, under the guidance of our leader, Yang Gyomunim. He has been studying and practicing meditation for a long time.
We will mainly be sitting down, but sometimes we may go out into the garden or to a mountain. Sometimes we have lunch or drink tea together.- The fee is 5,000 KRW. (This is to prevent No-Shows. If you bring your own cup, we will fill it up with Americano from the cafe next door)
- English Translation will be provided when needed.
- We can host up to 12 people. Please RSVP first.
- Please be reminded that you must stay at home if you have any fever and/or respiratory symptoms. (cough, sore throat, muscle pain and such)

Before the scorching hot summer heat hits the peninsula, we will go on a 3-nights-2-days Summer Retreat at the end of June.
For the first 12 people who attend at least 10 times(March~June) before the retreat, you will get a 50% discount of the Retreat participation fee.*If you are a newcomer, please check the Seoul Future Heritage VR Video.
