Mayor's Vision: One City One Future
Welcome to MEETUP FOR ONE CITY! Members of The Friendship Archway Network and Allies Building Community Inc. (A.B.C.) welcome you to join us on the 3rd Sundays of each month from 12:30PM to 2:30PM for FREE networking (free admission, water and networking; self-pay for food/drink you order.)
MEETUP for ONE CITY is a community initiative inspired by Mayor Vincent Gray's vision for Washington D.C. Meetup for ONE CITY is an educational program organized by local volunteers and "changemakers." Mayor Vince Gray and team held an awesome One City Summit at the DC Convention Center on Feb. 11, 2012 followed by One City Plan! Let's keep in touch with followup conversations each month on action steps to support the priorities described at the Plan.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED at this spontaneous and creative community engagement event!
The first step is to get to know each other better to see if we are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding. These monthly community engagement events provide opportunities to develop more community allies and to connect with others interested in similar topics. Express your interest to the group, to the co-organizers and attend followup small group meetings.
