I've altered the time slightly from 10:15 to 10:30 but the weather on Saturday is looking pretty good with plenty of sunshine, and Friday is looking dry too, so it looks like we'll have a nice walk.
I would suggest that you wear suitable footwear though as parts of the walk maybe a bit muddy, though a large portion of it is on road or gravel with some grass.( I would also suggest that you bring a change of shoes as we will be sharing cars and I am hoping some if not all of you will be joining us for a coffee or beer after the walk at the Bradgate pub) I look forward to it see yo Saturday.
As there is little parking at the start of the walk, I suggest we meet at Groby Lane in Newton Linford and share cars, I am happy to take two or three people myself, just click on the link below if you're not sure.
If the weather has been wet we may need to abandon the walk but I will post something on here the night before if the walk is cancelled.
The walk itself will leave priory lane leading up the the lane to the priory ruins and then on past Ulverscroft Lodge farm across the fields and back down the other side of the priory back down to priory lane and will take about 45 mins.
We can then return to Newtown and have a drink at the Bradgate Pub.
Hope to see lots of you there.
