Description: A walk starting at the edge of Loughborough using the old train track from Shepshed to Loughborough and passing through Booth wood before returning via local streets, Stapleford park and a viewpoint to the start. This is from a series of Charnwood family walks.
Conditions: Muddy soft, woodland paths, paved paths and parkland. When I walked this on 1st Jan it was muddy, dont expect it will be any different now, stout shoes/boots recommended.
Afterwards: Probably the Harvester pub on Ashby road
