Tuesday Climbing at Joe Rockheads - All Levels

Hi All,

2013 was a great year for the Toronto Wall Monkeys at Joe's. We saw a very large number of people attending our events on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a smaller, but equally dedicated grew on Saturdays.  We organized a few outdoor events as a large group which were quite successful and we had several teams participate in the Climb for Cancer, raising funds to find a cure.

We want to keep the momentum going, keep the core group climbing and hopefully add new faces to the mix. So far 2014 has brought us several new folks that have been great to climb with - we all learn from each other, beginners and seasoned climbers alike. If you're looking for a friendly, encouraging group of positive individuals to climb with, you've found us. :)

We generally climb from 6:30pm to 9pm or later, though people come and go as necessary and we trade partners to accommodate. We often hit Shoeless Joe's, the Brazen Head or another pub after a night of climbing for a drink and some wings or pub food.

Basic Gym Info:

$35 = Beginners Class (to supersize add $10)

DAY PASS -- $18 (Adults) , $15/Youth

DAY PACKAGE -- $25 (Adults), includes Pass, Shoes & Harness

The beginners class is generally a class to teach you to belay and do it safely. At the end of the class you will take a belay test. You will also be tested on your belay skills the next two times you come to the gym - a quick, 5 min test with no fee. Please note that this only covers standard, top-rope belay.
