"In Conversation" with Eriq LaSalle & Boris Kodjoe

In honor of Black History Month, Macy’s, The Gordon Parks Foundation and American Black Film Festival celebrate the 100th birthday of Black American Icon, Gordon Parks.

Celebrate the life of Gordon Parks by viewing iconic images in our photographic art installation featuring some of his most beloved works, such as American Gothic, Washington D.C. 1942 during the month of February on the 3rd Floor!

Join us “In Conversation” with actors Eriq LaSalle and Boris Kodjoe for a spirited discussion moderated by Renel Brooks-Moon on Gordon Park’s influence on film and the future of African American cinema. Following the discussion, enjoy live performances, refreshments and makeovers by Bobbi Brown. Plus, with any $50 or more purchase that day, receive an autographed copy of Eriq LaSalle's book "Laws of Depravity" and a commemorative Gordon Parks journal.

*NO PERSONAL ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR SIGNED. The first 100 customers to make a $50 or more purchase will be able to meet Eriq LaSalle and receive an autographed book. All events subject to change or cancellation.

Visit macys.com/celebrate for more information and to test your knowledge of Black History Month for a chance to win a $100 Macy’s Gift Card.

"In Conversation" with Eriq LaSalle & Kim Coles was great. Renel Brooks-Moon and Dana King did an awesome job MC'ing the event. It was informative and entertaining. There were musicians, dancers, and even a Black Owned Winery. I've already started reading Mr. LaSalle's book and it's a page turner.

I can't attend, but I would like to change my RSVP so that Storm, who is also a member can attend.

Attention folks: I just received word that Boris Kodjoe is not actually planning to attend the event. Just a heads up to anyone going through lengths to get to the event because of him
