Part 2: The Main Event: Let's go see the Soul Mechanix at Rasselas, which is just down the street. Soul Mechanix, is a funk band created by long time Onyx member Graal and blends groove-based jazz improv and progressive funk drawing from a diverse universe of influences.
Friday's performance will be featuring Vernon Hall - Bass/Vocals, Qyu Jackson - Drums, LJ Holoman - Keys, Sandy Griffith - Vocals, David Crenshaw - Voc. als, Kenny Bundy - Sax and Graal - Guitar/Vocals will hit at 9:00 pm and play songs from Bobby Brown, Michael, Marvin, Sade, Erykah, Aretha, Chaka, Rick James, Cameo, Blackstreet, Parliament/Funkadelic, Tony Toni Tone, Jill Scott and more. The show is free.
