HP Pavillion [San Jose]
Anyone else tired of artists who can sing on the radio, but are a big let down when you hear them live? Well look no further, because Onyx is hitting the HP Pavillion to see a real live diva put on a historical performance!
A young star with an old soul, Alicia Keys will be singing at the HP Pavilion on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
This ain't no Mariah 'i think i can still hit those high notes' Carey, and this ain't Janet 'im gonna dance real good and hope they cant tell I cant sing anymore' Jackson!
This is ALICIA KEYS people!
That means this is strictly for NO LIP SYNCING ALLOWED! I will play my piano, sang my songs, AND look good at the same time! Not just one or the other!
For those who own a Keys album or have heard her on the radio, you know the talent this young lady brings to the industry. My bets are that she's even better live.
In addition, Ne-Yo and recent American Idol winner, Jordan Sparks, will be opening.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 15, at 10am, and you KNOW they are going to sell out!
Onyx member Tamar will be organizing this event, and would like to collect money and then purchase tickets.
She will be trying to score tickets that are fairly decent (no more than $100 apiece), probably within the P2 section, but who knows, she could totally be on crack and these seats are way more than a hun apiece. The ticket range is $39-125, and it hasn't been posted which prices apply to which seats.
You can try this link and click on Seating Chart to see where that section is: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1C004063E78C95BC?artistid=807171&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=202
If you're interested, RSVP 'Yes' here, then shoot her a message with 'Concert' in the subject line! [contact Tamar]
After that, you have 2 months to save up your allowance, buy that new fit, and chill with Onyx in San Jose!
See everyone there!
