Meetup Description: Join Tiega and enjoy an afternoon of poetry inspired by jazz. The first of a three part series: Jazz and Poetry of the Diaspora. Reading of "John Coltrane and 15 Poems for Jazz," written by Yannis Livadas and translated from Greek into English by Jack Hirschman and Dimitri Charalambous. Dimitri and Jack will read original works and translations, accompanied by saxophonist Liam Furey. Followed by Jack, reading from his new book of poetry inspired by jazz, "Look a Hear."
