There are several misconceptions, but a big one that I have found is that people believe that "coming out" is a simple one-time act. I, however, believe that "coming out" is a life long process.
I do not go to clubs or bars, so its difficult to meet other gay people. I met my gay friends through social functions/gatherings and other friends.
Absolutely! Yes indeed, I do believe that gay people can be in healthy monogamous relationships that are fostered and nourished with love and good communication that result in longevity and long term commitment.
I'm out to my family and close friends.
