The Web is enabling new forms of social organisation to emerge that are bottom-up, participatory and peer-to-peer which is leading to deep structural transformation of all levels of government and the public sector. This open government meetup group is for anyone serious about developing new ideas and projects that foster transparency, participation and collaboration in government and public sector services. This could range from citizen innovation to community consultation, stakeholder engagement, mashups of public sector data and the use of wikis to co-create policy and legislation.
