Android Apps

From: John F.

These are the two Android apps I was talking about last meeting (that I really want to use, and so really need to upgrade off my iPhone).

Locale: http://www.twofortyfouram.com/product.html

One cool use of Locale is to have your daughter's phone SMS you when she reaches or leaves certain locations. School, library, friend A's house, friend B's house...

Locale has a vibrant app support and plugin community, much bigger than I had realized. Very cool stuff!

Combined with Tasker, there isn't much you can't make the phone do automagically for you. Schweet!

gDocs: http://sites.google.com/site/gdocsforandroid/
Edit your google docs in an app instead of through the browser. Also supports file conversion to the gdocs native format.

Party on Wayne,
John
