I don't know of one. I do know they had a developer conference in May
(in Austin) that was decently big.
Personally: While I really dig the cross platform nature of RB, coding
desktop apps isn't my thing. Plus I expect to need mySQL connectivity
and last time I checked that was only in the paid versions.
FYI: Real Basic was talked about on the linux actionshow podcast more
(and also episode 50 has more VB-like tool comparisons)
Maybe you could test the waters by doing a presentation on RealBasic for
OSSat. Somewhere between 30-60 minutes long? Given notice google will
pick it up from the meetup page and attract area users.
