Open Source Saturday - it's on!

From: John F.

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

Ahhhh. October, land of the OktoberFest.  Maybe your last summer hurrah before it turns autumny and cold (by Texas standards).  We'll try and keep things hot by pumping up the volume with Open Source software!

PeaZip - cross platform archive utility (Win+Linux). Uses 7zip by default (awesome!) but also support about every zip format I have ever seen, and has about every feature I have ever wanted.  Create self extracting files, or simulate and benchmark to automatically find the best algorithm for your data. 32 bit and 64 bit versions are available.

New Project for discussion: A system to manage/facilitate presentations at the Maker Space.  This system would allow for video+audio capture from multiple sources, switching the projector(s) input feeds from available inputs, Wall clock control, etc.  We'll discuss!

Plus Android news, Patent news, new release news...

I am thinking Mother's Daughter's Diner again for lunch!  Yes, you want to save room for the pie.  Hope you have a hunger for adventure. ;)

When: Saturday, October 1,[masked]:00 AM
