Does your workplace supply a VPN? If not, I would suggest having them implement one! Personally, I have a VPS with Openvpn installed so I can have more confidence using public wifi. When using public wifi, it doesn't really matter which encryption method is used if everybody can get on it anyways.

i cant avoid using wifi hotspots for these med security logins (due to work).

i am just trying to determine if i should bother changing my pw prior or not.  i know packets can be sniffed while i access sites but its far worse if someone gains my access for weeks or months vs the few days while i travel.  i'd like feedback for wpa, wep, & 0 encryption, since those are the 3 i'll come across.  (yes, i know wpa > wep > 0.)
