have you guys ever heard of this/have any clue how to explain it:i have 5 servers all hooked up to 1 linksys 8 port kvm via vga/usb cable for each. the cable has vga & 1 usb (which is for the mouse & kb connected via usb to the kvm). well 1 fine day, 1 of the servers crapped out; i thought it was the drive(s) but they tested fine. so perhaps its the mobo or raid card or sas/sata host card (i got weird I/O errors before it crapped out).but here's the odd bit: when the funky server gets to the grub menu (reinstalled ubuntu), no matter what i push (enter, p, esc) it immediately reboots the server. BUT MORE! that also reboots all of the other servers sometimes. just randomly sometimes.have you ever heard of this? 1 server rebooting all the servers on a kvm! randomly! i cant even figure out why the bad server reboots when i press any key at the grub menu. is the usb port failing? what can i test (ran all the bios hw tests & all passed). & how do you explain it randomly rebooting all the servers?!
