As we all know (from watching movies of course) the only way to exit a recurring nightmare is to find true happiness on Groundhog's Day. I'm not promising Open Source will do that for you, but not having to use Windows 8 seems like a good start. :)
So, right, we are meeting on Groundhog's Day and I'll try to keep the Bill Murray references to a minimum. Nancy, Lincoln, Walsh. Got it.
We will put a Chromebook up on the projector, and see what all the fuss is about. Near instant boot times, great battery life, ZERO work to maintain the OS (Google does all that work for you), and under $250.
