Travis Smith gave an awesome presentation on Ansible. Josh Keife will present next month on deploying openstack using mirantis fuel.

Brandon Toone had something come up and can't make it tonight. So, as a co-host, if you don't mind, I will keep the meeting moving along tonight. See you in a few hours. Our presenters are:

Travis Smith - Ansible and using it to control OpenStack.
    And if we have time:
Josh Keife - deploying openstack using mirantis fuel.

Does anyone remember who was going to present at our meeting on 2/19, next Wednesday?

I took some notes at our last meeting, but didn't include the critical part of who is presenting in February. I will paste in some of what we talked about for future subjects in case that jars anyone's memory:

RDO - is less mature than DevStack, but has more abilities
Going to ditch Fuel and use Ciscos docs to build your own
Alianza uses Puppet for their automation. Future topics:
    - OpenStack Networking. If a controller goes down, what happens when you have a "single point of failure" of the controller?
    - CEPH cinder volumes, clustered distributed files. Cinder / glance / ephemeral storage. If you use CEPH for a storage for you instances it's like using SAN for your instances that you can boot from again. Done by Inktank.
    - Fuel demo
    - OpenStack scheduler. Schedulers are pluggable.
    - Ansible, creating tenants, networks and spinning up instances, etc.
