OTS is proud to take part in the upcoming Codemotion Berlin tech conference providing two free programming w/python workshops. The second one is: Web App Development w/Django, a python framework.
Django is an open-source web framework written in Python that focuses on quick development and clean, pragmatic design. In this workshop you will learn Django’s basic principles by creating a bookmark application similar to Delicious or Pinboard.
Official sign up is on the Codemotion Berlin site (you should register for an eventbrite ticket-- here ) but feel free to sign-up on this OTS meetup page as well so that you can ask questions and connect with coaches before the event.
To make the best out of this workshop, you should have a basic understanding of Python or another object-oriented language. You will also need to bring your own laptop with a recent version of Python (2.6 or 2.7) installed. If you have a recent Mac or Linux, it is pre-installed, so you are covered. If you are running Windows, please let the organizers know in advance ([masked]) so they can help you set it up.
Because the number of seats is limited, it is important that you only sign up if you definitely plan on coming (and do so, too!). If you can't make it for any reason, please cancel your attendance on Meetup right away so someone on the waiting list can take your place. Thanks! See you at Codemotion Berlin!
