Talk: Code is read many more times than written (ca. 15 mins)
What do software engineers d all day long? Write code? Of course! But isn't it more about reading? About understanding what's happening? I believe so, that's why we should put an extra effort into writing code that is as understandable as possible.
This talk is about techniques that will help you write more readable code, be more productive and have more fun!"
Tobi is a clean coder, Rubyist, learner, teacher and agile craftsman by passion. He organizes the Ruby User Group Berlin and contributes to shoes and hacketyhack. He has a special neck for teaching, which is why he is a frequent coach at Rails Girls Berlin and also started to teach a course at a university.
A mini barcamp! (ca. 60 mins) - Anyone is invited to propose a topic they want to discuss or get help with and we organise ourselves into groups or pairs. At the end we share what we discussed.
We usually continue our discussions with a drink in a nearby bar. Looking forward to see you!
