Tech Talk by James Liao: An Open World of New Network

Networking industry is going through major transition as big data centers look towards commodity networking gear. In this meetup we have the honor of hosting "James Liao" - respectfully referred to as "The Arms Dealer" in the networking revolution and CEO of Pica8 - the leader in developing commodity networking gear. Pica8 networking gear has support for OpenFlow and is used by big web players to build network fabrics.

About James Liao

James Liao, co-founder of Pica8, is a visionary of the network industry and has been a strong advocate of open and dynamic network technology. James has 20 years of marketing, product management, and engineering experience in network infrastructure and server clustering. Prior to Pica8, James held executive positions at Quanta Computers, Woven Systems, Penguin Computing, 3UP Systems. James holds a MSCS from Stanford University.
