I tested the "suggest a date" feature. Yeah it works. Seems I can't change it back to blank. Hope everybody doesn't get too disappointed.

How do we set a date for this meetup? I'm specifically interested in how we can leverage relative position to Silicon Valley to leverage technology and influence of SV, to equalize the opportunities for all, and make SF a magnet for more than just awesome state test scores, but a magnet for technology and arts education. I am so depressed that SJ schools are closed next week for budget furlough. It means our great state is in trouble. Let's heed this as a wake up call.

As an African American male who repeated grades second, seventh, and eigth because of my "behavior problems," but yet persevered through community college onto State University, I look forward to meeting up.

If information is free on the Internet, edu should be as well. I think k-12 edu should be available to children via the Internet through online videos, podcasts, etc. I am willing to help create those videos & distribute it online.
