I'm specifically interested in how we can leverage relative position to Silicon Valley to leverage technology and influence of SV, to equalize the opportunities for all, and make SF a magnet for more than just awesome state test scores, but a magnet for technology and arts education. I am so depressed that SJ schools are closed next week for budget furlough. It means our great state is in trouble. Let's heed this as a wake up call.

If information is free on the Internet, edu should be as well. I think k-12 edu should be available to children via the Internet through online videos, podcasts, etc. I am willing to help create those videos & distribute it online.
