I always loved camping and nature, was a Boy Scout, love to hunt and fish and all outdoor sports. As the years went by, I was military trained and when I got home continued my outdoor hobbies. The last 15 years have been very enlightening for me seeing climate changes and world problems escalating, this has been the catalyst of the never ending learning process called being a prepper and survivalist.
I believe there will always be a time when someone in my family or one of my friends will need a hand. Being prepared for such emergencies no matter how small is essential for the spirit and soul. Aren't we all about helping each other?
I can make the time.
Hi everyone, my name is Joe Cherry and welcome to the site. A little about me....I own Cherry Tire Service in Maybrook NY and have been in this location since 1981. I am a 2 tour VietNam Vet, lifelong mechanic, I love classic cars and a prepper.
The members that attended are all great! There was a wealth of knowledge in the room and you wouldn't realize what you learn just by conversation! Many new members with many new skills. We discussed having a field day this spring at the Bethlehem Rod and Gun Club and members of that club will advise us on the availability. Update. We talked about the field day again and there are several optional locations. We might even venture an overnight with the first day learning and living survival skills.
