Learn as pros discuss their tactics, techniques and theories. For other SEO's, this meeting is (as Covey puts it) a "sharpening the saw" exercise. For non-SEO's, it's a sneak peek into the world of search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, social networking, link building and general Internet marketing.

If you own a website and don't see it on the first page of Google when you type in your product or service, you need to attend this Meetup. If you rank 2nd for a search term and have applied all the principles, but can't topple the #1 guy, this group will help you get that #1 spot.

Once we have an idea of the number people who want to attend, we'll set a location. Search Google for "seo expert" to find Steve Wiideman's Top 10 SEO Tips website which includes a contact phone number.

Refreshments are normally provided. However, due to the last minute venue change, I don't know how many people to expect. Please feel free to bring your own refreshments, I'll bring the basics.

    • “ The venue was great but nobody called the number we posted on the website, so several people couldn't get past the gate. Might have to find a new venue. ”
    • “ Went over there and the place I was at was gated. No suite number was given that I could see in the Meetup promo and it looked like a mistake. Left and came home. There were 3 variations of location for this address in Google Maps. Not a good night. The Holiday Inn location in Costa Mesa was easier to find. ”
