Getting Multiple Google Placements with Universal Search Results

Hey Gang,

We've had a lot of requests from members for this USR workshop, where you'll learn how to capture more of the results on page one of Google, as opposed to being myopic on that #1 spot.

There is a misconception about first page domination that you need to purchase and build multiple websites with different brand names (essentially spam) to achieve multiple placements. Not true. In fact, we'll show you several ways you can influence what appears within search results AFTER your website so that you can focus on converting users and not on spamming.

Channels we'll explore include:

  • Google Places
  • Video Results
  • Image Results
  • Social Results
  • News Results
  • Product Listing Ads
  • AdWords Extensions
  • and more!

We'll show you how to tag 3rd party content without spamming so that you and searchers can find most or all of that content on page 1 alongside your keyword-optimized webpage.

Are you in? See you on the 8th!

Awesome meet up. Even though I'm fairly new to SEO, I understood the content of this meetup and would definitely recommend this to any entrepreneur looking to start SEO on their website. No Salespitch def plus.

What are the attendance options for those who cannot attend brick and mortar - is there a live stream?

I'll definitely have something recorded for the group; it just won't be as interactive. Of course you can always Tweet me with questions. :)

    Hi Steve!

I took your advice about video for a website I built for a friend and the video is already on page 2 of Google results (while the website is a few notches below the video) - all in just about a week after launch. :) You were correct - Google likes video. Haha. I have the video hosted on Youtube as well as embedded on page one of the website. The site is www.bigbearelectricians.com The video is ranking above the largest and most established electrician in the valley.

Lots of work still to do, but a good start.

You rock! Thanks for all the great info!

That's awesome feedback Carol! You can influence view statistics by using YouTube promoted videos for a short period of time. Stats stay even when the promotional period is over.
