In conjunction with this Land Stewardship Project annual event Family Farm Breakfast at the Capitol (actually, it's across from the Capitol) in St Paul "Supporting Local Food, Local Control and Strong Rural Communities" The fifth annual Land Stewardship Project (LSP) Family Farm Breakfast at the Capitol will be Tuesday, March 2. This year's theme is "Supporting Local Food, Local Control and Strong Rural Communities." The event is open to the public and costs $10 to attend. Be sure to RSVP directly with LSP at phone or e-mail below. As in the past, this breakfast will feature food grown on the farms of LSP members. It's an opportunity for citizens and legislators to come together over delicious locally-produced food to discuss policies that promote sustainable rural communities and vibrant family farms. Citizens are encouraged to invite their legislators to meet them at the breakfast. Optional lobbying to follow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Capitol for LSP’s legislative priorities, starting in Room 346 of the State Office Building. For information on attending, volunteering to help or sponsoring an advertisement in the official breakfast program, contact LSP's Sarah Lesnar at[masked] or slesnar[at]landstewardshipproject.org.
