Hi Laura! Long time no see! I hope you are doing well!
Competition for Target and other corporate monsters will be easier if Feingold and Democrats retain control. We're roadtrip'n to Wisconsin to help progressive hero Russ Feingold win against huge corporate attacks. MoveOn.org is helping volunteers get to Wisconsin from all over the state on Saturday or Sunday to deliver a Senate treat instead of a corporate trick:
If the polls are correct, over 80% of the people don't want corporations involved in giving money to campaigns. Therefore, I think it's better to protest at different stores at the same time. In addition, I will be protesting more during the week instead of weekends; at least through August.
no, I'm not interested in holding things.
Welcome to the group, Laura! Target is a regular fixture in my buying life, I am disappointed to hear of where some of their money goes. I'll do my best to support the boycott.
Well, hello Laura!
Hey, Laura! Carol Woehrer forwarded me the info. Sorry I can't be there tomorrow.
You may want to clarify the location: the Richfield Target is at 66th & Hwy 77; the Bloomington Target is at I-494 & Penn Ave; I presume you mean the latter.
Plans are being made to picket Target HQ next week - shoot me an email at [masked] and I'll make sure you get the details when they become available.
Thanks for organizing this!
