You Are What You Eat, Free Screening of FOOD MATTERS

  • Jul 12, 2008 · 5:00 PM

Please join us for a free screening of the ground breaking new documentary "Food Matters". It's also a vegan potluck. Feel free to bring a meat free, dairy free dish, be it simple or fancy (optional). The church has been kind enough to offer us the use of their room, but this is not a church event. Everyone is welcome. Please be sure to RSVP. Space is limited. Watch the
trailer for a sneek peek! "Food Matters" is a hard hitting fast paced look at our current state of health. Despite the billions of dollars of funding and research into new so-called cures we continue to suffer from a raft of chronic ills and every day maladies. Approaching an over toxic and over indulgent population with a continuing onslaught of toxic therapies and nutrient sparse foods is definitely not helping the situation."Food Matters" seeks to uncover the business of disease and at the same time explore the safe, cheap and effective use of nutrition and supplementation for preventing and often curing the underlying causative aspects of our ills. This meetup is being co-hosted by our good friends, the Inland Empire Raw Foods Meetup Group.

I loved this and would love to buy it and host a screening at my home to share with my family!

We had a wonderful time! The film was great, and I really loved hanging out with everyone. I feel so close to all of you now. Thank you for bringing yummy vegan goodies and for your contributions. Rodney and I had such a wonderful time. I have been a raw vegan for over 1.5 years and after seeing the film, my husband, Rodney told me he wants to go 51% raw! He also said he had such a great time, he wants to attend every meetup. What a wonderful group of people. Thank you for bringing your kids. :)

What a wonderful fun way to entertain and educate; it's always a joy and an honor to come together and share with everyone. Our group has been known to cause fits of uncontrollable happiness!
