Abstract Sculpture and Paintings

Marcos Cruz

Born on 1972. Native to Cadiz Spain, Marcos migrated to the USA in 1979 and currently lives with his wife Amanda and four children in the Orlando area. He has lived in Europe and the Caribbean. He considers his experience of living in different cultures as a primary influence on his art. His works are inspired by a fascination for how things work and the patterns of everyday life. He focus on the beauty of cultural diversity and its many accomplishments. By interacting with the public to inform his art, his works often speak in the voice of the people. Marcos believes that as we take part in the arts, we strengthen the bonds of culture and community. His works are collected and exhibited locally and internationally. Marcos is also the director of design and visual arts consultant for the Culinary Team USA for the World Cup in 2010 and the 2012 Olympics in Europe. He designed the center piece sculpture and display that won a gold medal at the 2010 Culinary World Cup.

Roberto Gonzalez

A native of Mexico City, Mexico, painter Roberto Gonzalez has been on a life-long, introspective journey in search of the appropriate outlet to share his rich heritage and passion for life with others. This unbridled passion serves as the central inspiration behind the artist´s exceptional work. Each painting delivers an inner-peace that is passed from artist to viewer as Roberto takes them on their own personal voyage of discovery inside his imaginative world of impressionism.

Roberto describes his unique artistic style as a “fluid movement from which flows the essence of life” and enjoys using vibrant colors, unusual movement and acrylics on canvas to bring his visions to life.

FYI, as part of 3rd Thursday, some new art galleries will be opening that night at the old Church Street Bazaar (in the space where the last NudeNite was held).
