2-DAYS TAMBA TOUR: Historic Walk+Excellent Tamba Food

Tamba is surrounded by  lush nature, where you can smell  the  richness of earth no matter where you walk (another option is to say “all around you” either is good!). Despite the fact that it is located near major cities, such as Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto, the area offers fresh air like nowhere else, and you can enjoy the old, nostalgic landscapes  intrinsic to Japanese history. There are many historical buildings you can see, and the area surely has everything that you’d want to experience while in Japan: Great food, sake tastings, hot springs and historic walks.

Tamba City has decided that they would budget for a monitoring tour, exclusively for foreign people from western countries. The city would love you to see the best of what Tamba can offer, and the tour includes all the specialty foods at  top-rated restaurants and a stay at a five-star hotel. You sure won't find any better tour in the future!

To join this tour, you must meet the following requirements:

1. You must be from N. America, S. America, Europe,Africa, Middle East or Russia, either visiting or living in Japan.

2. You must be older than 18 years,, but up to two children below 9 years of age are allowed at an additional fee.

3. You must not be allergic to meat or fish products. (Even a vegetable option may contain some fish stock.) If you have any other allergies, please let us know.

4. Two people will share a room, so, preferably, you join with your friend or partner (married or not).

5. You must be willing to share your thoughts, fill surveys and rate the venues/post comments on tripadvisor.com.

If you meet the above requirements, please continue reading. If you don't, we are very sorry. We will continue working hard and will try to plan another monitoring tour where everyone can join in the future.

Tour Plan:

We will take you to TambaSasayamaKameoka and Nantan cities in two days, and we are 100% sure that you’ll love the trip! (+ the discount!) Notably, at hotel Keburikawa, you'll get your private hot spring tub in the terrace of your room, so if you've ever felt uneasy about the idea of public baths, this will be a great chance to try Onsen while enjoying the view of nature.

The price is going to be 28,000 yen (while the original cost would've been 58,000 yen, and the hotel alone costs 26,800 yen at Keburikawa), and that includes the bus ride from Osaka Station as well! I wouldn't say it is cheap for a 2-days trip, but that's how much money you are saving.. Don't miss this chance!! >:)

There will be writers from Kansai Scene and The Japan Times joining the trip with us. (KS will write about the trip for their March issue.) There is a chance that you’ll be on the picture, but you can let us know if you’d rather not be featured on the show..

We are still finalizing the price, but we’ll start accepting applications today. Simply contact via E-mail or sign up on the website. We look forward to hearing from you then!

This is probably going to be an one-time trial tour, but I'll definitely let you know if they ask me again.
