Welcome to Eat Osaka.We are the group where people gather for good food in Osaka and Kobe, in hopes of making new friends to share different knowledge, cultures, languages and laughters :) With 800+ members, we are happy to have you in one of the largest (yet private) social groups in Kansai, and we look forward to meeting you at an event soon.

While Meetup is a free platform, it can only work with the cooperation and consideration of the members within the group: Please understand that, as a member, you have responsibilities.

Rules:

1) Any no-shows or cancellations after the deadline must be paid for. Even if it is friends and people we know well, we know you will understand. We have already had to pay for no-shows at many events and have to introduce this zero tolerance policy with regret. We also reserve the right to name people who completely ignore the rules and behave in this manner to the 800 or so other members, report them to meetup, ban them permanently from the group and take unspecified further action.

2) If you are involved in any kind of networking business, please leave the group immediately. Some people has been trying to target members throughout events to develop their business rather than making friends. If you end up being a victim, please report to us, and we will happily remove such inadequate members.

3) If you are a vegetarian, please let us know every time you sign up for an event. I remember who can or cannot eat meat most of the time, but I sometimes forget.

4) Golden Rule: One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated.
