    It is the story of the World Wide Web (WWW) achieving consciousness and the subsequent implications and consequences of that happening... It is science fiction (the authour, Robert Sawyer prefers to call it speculative science). However, it is based on a lot of very real, current scientific thinking involving consciousness

    ? The book "Watch" is the 2nd book of a trilogy. The 1st book of the trilogy is "Wake" The 3rd book of the trilogy is "Wonder" and is not coming out until 2011. The initials of the 3 books of the trilogy is "WWW" It is suggested that reading the first book of the trilogy, "Wake" may be helpful.....

    Humanist Dave "B" is unable to present the book that he was scheduled to present at the October 04 book club meeting --------- "Watch" by Robert Sawyer.. He will be presenting it at the January, 2011 book club meeting.
    Volunteers will be needed to present a book at the October 04 bookclub meeting..
    Humanist Dave will be at the Atheist Alliance International Conference in Montreal on Oct. 01/02/03 and plans on staying in Montreal for the rest of that week...
