Details:
It's back again! Like the Christmas social event, this is one of our favourite events of the year.
Join us at Maxwell's Bistro on Elgin Street as we close the season for the Ottawa IT Community User Groups.
The event is co-hosted by:
• Ottawa Windows Server User Group
• Ottawa .NET User Group
• Ottawa SQL User Group
We'll have appetizers, networking activities, and a whole lot of fun. Come join your peers and let’s close out the season in style.
IMPORTANT: This year there will be some prizes drawn at random so remember to bring your registration forms to be eligible for the draw!
See you there!
Sincerely,
Wes MacDonald, Jean-Rene Roy, and Joël Hébert

Someone commented to me that they don't make as many OITC presentations as they would like because they are in Kanata and the drive at 5:30pm is too long / challenging. Has anyone thought about trying to stream the presentations to see if that would extend our reach? Maybe we could check out Google+ Hangouts on Air, http://www.google.com/+/learnmore/hangouts/onair.html.

I think there was an attempt once to stream/record. Difficulty is equipment and quality I think. I don't think anyone currently has the equipment to make this watchable. We'd need a wireless mic for example... But, if we can get the equipment, I think it's worth a try.
