I'm a busy mom. What if I'm not able to attend an event within 30 days? Will I be removed?

We understand that you are busy with your families but our vision for this group is to have an active playgroup with strong friendships. To make this happen we need to be proactive in meeting up with each other. We understand that there will be the odd occasion when our policies cannot be met for excusable reasons. If a problem arises where someone cannot meet a policy, we asked that they contact an organizer to explain the situation. Communication is important so please keep us in the loop, so that we know that you are still interested in being a member. . If you do get removed from our group for inactivity and you are now able to participate, feel free to rejoin. We would love to have you back!



Can I post on the Message Board and still be considered active?

We will not consider only posting on the message board as being active. We are a group that meets for fun and friendship. Our message boards are for us to keep in touch between meetups but do not take the place of attending events. For our group to be successful, we need our members to meetup.



Are there membership dues?

The membership fee is suggested at $5 per year and it is non-refundable.


Do you have a Sick Policy?

We realize that with children, getting colds is just a fact of life. However we would like to try and keep our playgroup as healthy as possible. Therefore we would ask that you refrain from attending one of our events if you or your child shows any of the following symptoms of illness:

Cold symptoms that have started within the last 48 hours. A cold is contagious within the first 2 days of sympoms
Diarrhea within the last 48 hours
Vomiting within the last 48 hours
A fever within the last 48 hours
Sore throat
Cough and fever within the last 48 hours
Spot-like rash following a low-grade fever and tiredness (may be chicken pox)
Been on antibiotics for less than 48 hours.


Can my Partner join me in attending any of the events?

YEP!! We have special events that are labeled PW (Partners Welcome). You are free to bring your partner to any of these PW events!!
If an event is not labeled PW, then you will know that this event is just for moms and their children.

We also have events labeled MNO - which means Mom's Night Out. These events are JUST for moms - no partners and no children! We need a night out to ourselves every now and then!!



I'm a new mom and a little shy about joining a playgroup. Is this group for me?

YES! YES! YES!! This group IS for you!! We all feel a little awkward at times meeting new friends! But we're here to tell you that this is one group of FRIENDLY mom's!! If you can commit to coming out to our events we can guarantee you will develop new friendships - and have fun!
