OMM members are expected to attend 1 in person meet-up event per month. This is something the group has always had as a policy and it is essential that members meet face to face to promote safety and increase the closeness and friendship within the OMM community.

What’s new?

In order to offer some flexibility to this policy, here are some guidelines to follow:
• If you have attended more than 1 event during a 30 period, you are exempted from the following 30 days.
• If you are unable to attend an in person meet-up for whatever reason, you must attend an online meet-up during that 30 day period and you must attend an in person meet-up during the following 30 days to keep your membership.
• There will be no set expected MB participation policy, however I do strongly encourage all members to visit the message board and add your thoughts, support and participate in some good conversation. I believe that with enforced policies and active membership, we should avoid the “lurking” factor.
• Members who are at risk of removal due to non-attendance will be sent a warning for inactivitity in which they are to respond by a specific deadline. If no reply is made, that member will then be sent a removal email and be invited to rejoin at a later date.
• ALL members must RSVP to the Come Out Come Out events to state their active participation. I want to offer flexibility, but I need you all to be responsible to provide me with this information to avoid any unnecessary removals or complications.

RSVPs: Please take the time to RSVP each scheduled event. Our members are asked to treat a Yes RSVP with the same respect as a doctor's appointment. PLEASE NOTE: Members with a YES RSVP to an event and are "NO-SHOWS" more than 3 times are subject to removal.

I understand that there will be the rare occasion when emergencies come up, but I just ask for you to show some respect and courtesy to the organizers/facilitators/hostesses who take time out of their day to make these events possible.
