The Basics:

Started in 2006, OMF - The Ottawa Movie Fans Meetup Group is the longest-running movie meetup in the Ottawa area. We focus on having small-scale events (of 8-12 people) in which our members can really get to know one another.

OMF is a great, low-pressure way to meet new people in the Ottawa area and the friendships spawned from this group have lasted years. You'll see some great movies, and some not-so-great movies - but no matter what the film itself is like, the discussion afterwards is always a blast!

When and Where Do We Meet?

We'll normally have events scheduled for Tuesday evenings, but we also have some events which take place on other days of the week. The theatres we frequent are the Mayfair, the Bytowne, World Exchange Empire 7 and South Keys Cinema.
