This meetup is meant to get Ottawa movie fans together to watch the latest films at local theatres. After the movie, we all head to a nearby restaurant or pub - talk movies, laugh and get to know each other with friendly conversation. It's a low pressure way to meet new people, and see some awesome movies in the process.

Where: The theatres we currently frequent are the Empire 7, the Bytowne, the Mayfair, the Silver City Gloucester and South Keys cinema.

At the theatre: We always meet past the ticket counter and the concession stand, outside the screening room doors of the movie we're going to see (ten to fifteen minutes before our movie begins). That way people can get their tickets and treats in advance and not miss out on the film! After the movie, the group meets once again outside the theatre doors - to regroup before the after-discussion.

Charity: Being community conscious we've raised over $1000 for the Ottawa Food Bank, the Ottawa Humane Society and Equality Now.
