Every year in September, Ocean Conservancy brings together volunteers and passionate people around the world for a one-day cleanup of trash at local coasts, rivers, and watersheds. Help to contribute to a healthier ocean and trash-free seas!
Ocean Conservancy mobilizes the International Coastal Cleanup—the world’s largest volunteer effort to clean up waterways and the ocean. This year's Cleanup will take place on September 21, 2013.
Our Task will be joining Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment at Barcroft Park in Arlington at 1PM. This park is located close to Shirlington, off of Four Mile Run Drive and S. Walter Reed Drive.
There is free street parking off of Four Mile Run, and S. Arlington Mill Drive (by Shirlington) or you can park in the Shirlington parking garage by the Library and Harris Teeter in Shirlington Village. If you are planning to metro into Arlington please email Julia: [masked].
