Easter Egg Hunt at The Douglas County Fairgrounds!

Let's celebrate Easter 2 days early with a little Easter Egg hunt for our kids! Everyone please bring 10-12 plastic eggs (per child) filled with a treat (age appropriate for toddlers). We'll gather all the eggs, hide them while we distract the kids and then let them loose. If you have an Easter basket for your kids, please bring it. Otherwise, I'll have some plastic grocery sacks for them to use to collect the eggs. I'll also have some extra eggs in case you forget yours. After the hunt, the kiddos can play at the park.  We'll meet at the park down the hill from Pavillin A.

Was unable to make it because Vincent fell asleep in the car on our way over. Heard it was lots of fun.

We had a great time! Thank you Estelle for putting this together. We don't have family out here. It's nice since we just moved here that my kids were able to participate in an egg hunt.

It would've been better if people were watching their kids a little more closely during playtime after. I know with such a big group it's a little hairy. Kids were running into each other on slides, one kid pushed my son for no reason, someone stole at least one egg from our basket while we were playing, and I saw a girl going for our basket and stopped her before she stole, but her parent didn't notice.

Hi mamas, we're looking forward to our Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow! Don't forget to bring 10-12 eggs filled with toddler friendly treats! We'll do 2 hunts, one for the little ones and one for the bigger kids. Feel free to call me on my cell if you can't find us. [masked]

Pull into the entrance that doesn't have a traffic light but still has a Fairgrounds sign, drive down to the stop sign and take a right. You'll drive into the parking lot where Pavillion A is located. The playground is down the hill from the pavillion...you can't really see the playground from the parking lot. I hope that makes sense ;)
