Sunday 19th May - 11 miles Greater London Capital Ring - Woolwich to Grove Park

An attractive 11 mile walk  in the Greater London area.

Walk description:

This is a section of the 78 mile Capital Ring walk that passes by outstanding attractions, nature reserves and waterways in the suburbs. It has great contrasts going from the River Thames to Oxleas meadow, and through parks. We will get a chance to explore the greenest parts of the capital.

Please note:

Please carry a packed lunch, snacks and water. We will have some stops during the day for facilities, and drinks at a pub at the end of the walk. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as is a waterproof jacket. You need to be comfortable doing several hours of walking and please consider yourself committed for the entire day. Thanks.

Was good to meet everybody. Hope to do it again soon. Did you all end up in a (gasp) pub?

Ha! The 2 Grove Park pubs have been shut down and boarded up. I'm abit worried about the residents of that area...
