I was a very enjoyable walk along the east river. The only complaint is that we could have stopped at more points of interest and historical sites. It was nice to walk by the United Nations building but that is something that anyone could go to on their own.

If you are coming from New Jersey via the PATH train from Harrison or Newark, you will have to change trains at Journal Square. The PATH train to World Trade Center is not running this weekend. Take 33rd street train to 14 street and take L-train to Union Square (or walk from 14th and 6th Ave to Union Square). Then take the uptown, 4,5, or 6 trains and get off at 86 street.
